Summer Camp 2023

During the summer, Camp Penn hosts engaging summer camps for children and youth. Here, young people are invited to be themselves and experience true, loving, Christian community. Everyone is welcome to experience this special place and become a member of the Camp Penn family.

Campers may experience: swimming in the pool, archery, GaGa ball, nine square in the air, sports (basketball, volleyball, tennis, soccer and more!), craft shop, the Creekside Cafe (a full snack shop, game room, and board games), hiking on the Appalachian Trail and Camp Penn Nature Trail, evening campfires, trout fishing on the Antietam, enjoying the picnic pavilion, indoor and outdoor chapels, and rec hall with a stage. Summer campers sleep in long house style cabins.

At Susquehanna Conference United Methodist Camp and Retreat Ministry we believe summer camp is extremely valuable to the spiritual, mental, and physical growth of children and youth. Every day at camp, Christian community is experienced, relationships are built, faith commitments are made, and tomorrow’s leaders are developed.

We are proud to say that all of our camp events are priced significantly under the industry average, and are comparable to other United Methodist camp programs.
